Description of monofilament polyester screen mesh

Monofilament polyester filters (low elongation) offer a wide range of mesh counts and significant advantages over traditional polyester woven mesh.

The single wire mesh is woven from yarn and the yarn is extruded from the heated polyester into a single strand of conventional monofilament. Polyester mesh fabrics stretch under tension: the higher the tension level, the more the yarn stretches. In the case of excessive tension, the thread reaches the "plastic deformation" point and the screen will no longer maintain tension. Our polyester screens are of high quality and precision, ranging from 25 mesh to 460 mesh/inch.

Our polyester monofilament woven mesh screens have excellent tear resistance and high fabric tension can be achieved with almost any commercially available stretching system. Very good dimensional stability ensures a highly repeatable tension.

Precisely weaving dimensionally stable threads produces fabrics with predictable and tight tolerance counts and mesh openings for consistent registration and clear resolution.
